KŠD LEGAL Takes over Auspicies of Awarding prof. Švestka Prize at Faculty of Law at Charles University

On 24 June 2020, the award ceremony of results of the XIII. Year of Student Scientific and Professional Contest and Special Prize of prof. JUDr. Jiří Švestka, DrSc. took place at the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague. KŠD LEGAL advokátní kancelář s.r.o. had taken auspicies of awarding the special prize to promising students of the Faculty of Law in Prague, and it is the honour to our law firm to be the partner of this prize connected with a great man of law - prof. Švestka.

Prof. Jiří Švestka (19 January 1930 – 9 March 2019) was an imminent Czech lawyer, civil law expert, and, since 1985, a profesor at the Faculty of Law at Charles University. He was an expert in the whole spectrum of civil law, namely in the areas of rights relating to personality and liability for damage caused. Prof. Švestka was also an active attorney-at-law.

On 24 June 2020, the special prof. Švestka Prize was awarded by the Civil-Law Selection Committee to Bohdan Chrenovský for his student work with the topic Innefectivness of Legal Acts Without Adequate Counter-Performance in Insolvency Proceeding.
